William Jones was introduced to computers back in the fourth grade, through a favorite teacher. That summer, he was given his first PC and took a programming and hardware class. Thirty years later, Bill is now on the other side of technology, as a Cisco Certified Instructor (CCI) for New Horizons. His experience with deploying systems started in college, when he was tasked with implementing small networks in campus buildings. After college, Bill went through careers in the restaurant and construction industries, before finding his way back to information technology. Starting at New Horizons in 2000, Bill’s dynamic delivery style, enthusiasm and sense of humor make him very popular with students. Bill accelerated quickly from teaching office applications to the technical training department, where he works today. He also has often worked with instructors on improving training techniques. Because of Bill’s lively delivery style, he was selected in 2008 as one of the first online trainers to take technical training virtual. Never one to sit idly, he is still implementing, designing and deployment systems for numerous businesses when he is not in the classroom teaching.
